Crítica: Advermix – Pandeathmic (2016)

Por fín tenemos la agradable noticia de presentar el primer larga duración de los murcianos Advermix. 10 años desde su aparición y con 3 EP a sus espaldas, tenemos la agradable ocasión de escuchar su primer disco de estudio llamado ‘Pandeathmic’, disco que saldrá el 31 de mayo bajo el sello Born Of Chaos Records.

Con temas ya editados en sus anteriores Ep’s y temas nuevos, es lo que podemos encontrar en el trabajo de éstos thrashers murcianos y que consta de unos 33 minutos de duración.

Empezando a desgranar el disco, éste lo abre la intro ‘Born Of Chaos’, como gran preludio a uno de los mejores temas del disco, ‘Born Of Chaos’, tema que personalmente destaco, y que es de los mas potentes que podemos escuchar de la banda, gran trabajo de las baterias y las guitarras que hacen disfrutar al oyente de varios cambios de ritmos donde plasman un tema muy ‘thrasher’ y que posiblemente sea un gran apertura de sus conciertos en directo. Le siguen ‘The Power Of The Perfect Line’, en donde de nuevo podemos seguir escuchando un thrash muy en la onda Death angel y bandas americanas del estilo, de nuevo las guitarras suenan en gran sintonia y se hace un tema interesante con un solo muy logrado. Con ‘Panje’ no variamos de sonido, y seguimos escuchando la misma base instrumental, acorde a como sonará todo el disco, guitarras muy presentes y varios cambios de registros vocales, con dobles voces mas guturales y que termina como empieza. Entramos en el quinto tema del disco y es el corte ‘Manhate Philosophy’, tema ya editado anteriormente en un de sus Ep’s y que sirve como intermedio del disco, donde escucho un cierto aire a ‘Angelus Apatrida’ y que sigue sonando muy bien, con presencia del bajo en el sonido del grupo y con el consiguiente duelo de guitarras, donde escuchamos otros solos para el registro de Advermix, tema seguramente que coreado en sus directos y con un estribillo pegadizo. El sexto tema del disco se llama ‘Inside the Wall’, el tema mas corto del trabajo y que sirve como puente a ‘We Fall’, el corte número 7. Es posiblemente el tema mas oscuro, sobre todo por la atmosfera mas ‘doom’ y mas compleja que encontramos
en el disco de Advermix, tema destacable por la laboriosidad. Proseguimos con ‘In Thrash We Trust’, ‘nombre marca’ y tipica de muchas bandas… toda una declaración de intenciones, aquí encontrarás THRASH, porque de ello confiamos, de nuevo, ese ramalazo a Angelus Apatrida me viene a le mente, tema 100% asegurado para el directo y que personalmente también me agrada. Llegamos al corte número 9 y el fin del disco, con el tema ‘Pandeathmic’, que da nombre al trabajo y que te vendrá a la mente el primer tema del disco después de la intro, muy del corte, no se si echo adrede pero a mi me resultó su escucha, un tema también para el repertorio de éstos murcianos.

En líneas generales el disco está bien trabajado, y asegurando que fue complicado quizás después de 10 años sacar su primer larga duración, el resultado está más que bien, suena muy interesante y como primer trabajo, salen del corte con buena nota. Una banda a tener en cuenta con una buena base de guitarras, y buenos cambios de ritmos, realmente a tener en cuenta éstos murcianos en seguras siguientes ediciones de nuevos trabajos.

We finally have the pleasant news to present the first long duration of Advermix. 10 years since its appearance and with 3 EP behind, we have the pleasant opportunity to hear their first studio album called ‘Pandeathmic’ album that will be released on May 31 under Born Of Chaos Records.

With songs already published in previous EPs and new issues it is what we can find in the album of these thrashers from Murcia and comprising about 33 minutes.

Starting to reel this record, it opens the intro ‘Born Of Chaos’ as great prelude to one of the best tracks on the album, ‘Born Of Chaos’ theme I personally stressed, and that is the most powerful we can hear the band, great work of the batteries and guitars that make the listener enjoy several changes of rhythm which reflected a topic very ‘thrasher’ and possibly a great opening their live concerts. Followers ‘The Power Of The Perfect Line’ where again we can continue listening to thrash in the vein Death Angel and American bands style guitars sound again in great harmony and an interesting topic is made with one very accomplished. With ‘Panje’ no we varied sound, and We keep hearing the same instrumental basis, according to how it will sound throughout the disc, guitars very present and several changes of vocal registers, with more guttural voices doubles as starts and ends. We entered the fifth song on the album and is the court ‘Manhate Philosophy’, subject and previously edited in one of his Ep’s and serves as an intermediate disk, where I hear a certain air to ‘Angelus Apatrida’ and it still sounds very good with presence bass in the band’s sound and consequent guitar duel, where we heard other solos for recording Advermix, surely topic I chanted in their direct and with a catchy chorus. The sixth song on the album is called ‘Inside the Wall’, the shortest theme of work and serving as bridge ‘We Fall’, the cut number 7. It is possibly the subject darker, especially the atmosphere more ‘doom’ and more complex than we found Advermix on the disc, remarkable industriousness theme. We continue with ‘In Thrash We Trust’, ‘brand name’ and typical of many bands … everything a statement of intent, here are THRASH, because we trust again, that pang Angelus Apatrida comes to her mind, subject 100% insured for direct and personally I also like. We arrived at court number 9 and the end of the disc, with the theme ‘Pandeathmic’, which gives name to work and to come to mind the first track after the intro, very cut, not if I miss Dred but I turned me your listening, a subject also to the repertoire of them.

Overall the album is well worked, and ensuring that it was complicated perhaps after 10 years get their first full length, the result is more than good, sounds very interesting and as the first work cut out with flying colors. A band to be reckoned with a good base of guitars, and good changes of pace, really to consider this band safe following editions of new albums.
