En 2008 Crakovia-Polonia, el guitarrista Zagreus, ex –Archanger, ex –Chtonian, ex –Outbreak of Evil, decide iniciar un proyecto experimental en solitario, combinando Folk Progresivo y Black Metal. En Agosto de 2010 pasa a formar una banda. El 28 de septiembre de 2012 lanza su primer Lp. Bajo el título Wziemiozstapienie. La audiencia recibe de forma favorable este trabajo y es apoyado por buenas críticas. Las creaciones se basan en su mayoría en composiciones de la era en solitario de Zagreus.

En diciembre de 2013 ingresa un nuevo batería, Marcin ”Pazuzu” Pazera (ex -Formosa). Con este cambio en la alineación, JARUN inicia la grabación de material nuevo. Por varias razones las sesiones de grabación se completan en la primavera de 201 5.
El trabajo que analizaré en estas líneas, “Pod Niebem Utkanym z Popiolu” que sigifica “Bajo un Cielo Tejido a Partir de las Cenizas”, presenta una clara evolución del sonido de JARUN. Cuenta con un proceso creativo en el que colabora casi la banda al completo, composiciones complejas y un sonido personal, aun conservan ciertos matices y atmósferas del inicio de la banda.
Son 54 minutos de fortaleza y músculo creativo, que no dejaran indiferente a los amantes de música de calidad como seña de identidad.
El primer corte “Przedswit” inicia con una microfonía de guitarra, que a los 90 segundos es interrumpida por unos arreglos limpios de guitarra acústica, estos arreglos me recordaron el trabajo de “Andreas Kisser” en solitario “Hubris”. Esta intro de poco mas de 4 minutos es un presagio de lo que esta por venir.
El segundo corte “Kamienie” , nos deja ser testigos de la fortaleza vocal de su frontman “Meph” (ex -Formosa). Cuidados adornos melódicos de guitarra, adornan los interludios presentes entre los pasajes agresivos. Una mezcla de emociones exquisitas y obscuras a la vez.
Los pasajes atmosféricos se suceden, se mezclan con la brutalidad marcada por baterías inmensas. Mientras las voces juegan con varios registros. La guitarra no deja de mostrar el gran trabajo compositivo, en el quinto corte “Cisy” consigue 2:37 minutos de soledad para la guitarra creativa; sin alardear de virtuosismo.
El siguiente track a destacar es el número siete, “Trzy Smierci”, donde las cuerdas vocales pasean por los límites del grito desgarrador, vaticinando cada vez interludios de pasajes preciosistas y cálidos, guitarras limpias que nos llevaran hasta el final, abducidos hipnotizados atrapados por la dulzura del arreglo.
“Piolun”, el track ocho; marcado por agresividad y rapidez en su ejecución, una gran sucesión de escalas que logran un solo de guitarra grandioso, no te deja indiferente.
El tema final “Jak Wiatr”. Inician unas armónicas de guitarra, Oscuros pasajes componen esta oda de un poco mas de 10 minutos, donde se juega con voces de registros profundos, seguidos de susurros que estallan en gritos de dolor. Nuevamente una guitarra limpia nos lleva, esta vez al final de esta gran obra.

In 2008 Crakovia-Poland, guitarist Zagreus, ex -Archanger, ex -Chtonian, ex -Outbreak of Evil, decides to start an experimental project, combining Progressive Folk and Black Metal. In August 2010 he joined a band. On September 28, 2012, he released his first LP, called "Wziemiozstapienie". The audience receives favorably this work and is supported by good reviews. The creations are based mostly on compositions Zagreus was solo.
In December of 2013 enters a new drummer, Marcin "Pazuzu" Pazera (ex -Formosa). With this change in the line-up, Jarun starts recording new material. For various reasons the recording sessions are completed in the spring of 2015.
The work I discuss in these lines, "Pod Niebem Utkanym z Popiolu" is meaning "Under a Heaven tissue from the ashes", it presents a clear evolution of sound. It has a creative process that works almost the whole band, complex compositions and a personal sound, which still retain certain nuances and atmospheres of the beginning of the band.
It is 54 minutes of creative strength and muscle, which will not leave indifferent lovers of quality music as a hallmark.
The first track "Przedswit" begins with a guitar miking that 90 seconds is interrupted by a clean acoustic guitar arrangements, these arrangements work reminded me to "Andreas Kisser’s" solo in the song "Hubris". This intro of just over 4 minutes is a harbinger of what is to come.
