Crítica: Ankhar – Deshumanizazioa (2016)

"BrokenTomb"

[English below]

[English version]

Ankhar was born in the year 2012 under the name of Human in Gipuzkoa, Zestoa. After a while doing versions of Black Sabbath, they decided to compose their own songs and in 2013, they recorded their first album called "Etorkizunarekin jolasean", preferring the Thrash Metal. The following year, they change the name of the Human by the Ankhar and at the end of 2015 begin composing his new work, which has come to light a scant month ago and have it called "Deshumanizazioa".

"Ankhar"

This new album goes straight to the point, no concessions, no frills. In it we found eight themes of old school Thrash Metal very influenced by groups like Testament or Sodom, but at the same time loaded with a great personality and even that Hardcore elements exist.

After the instrumental intro "Gaueko Ixiltasunaren Zarata", Ankhar hits us with songs such as "Deshumanizazioa", "Odolezko harriak" or "Etorkizunarekin jolasean", that does not skimp on fast and sharp riffs, strong alone, a rhythm section that will not let that we stop to headbanging and an aggressive and powerful voice that finished rounded high musical quality that exudes from beginning to end.

Ankhar is a band that feels that it loves what it does, and "Deshumanizazioa" is an album that I’m sure that you will love all those fans of the golden age of Thrash Metal. Take a listen and certainly won’t disappoint anyone.
