Akani es un cuarteto formado por:
Daniel Antonsson (guitarra).
Daniel Cederborg (guitarra).
Anders Löwgren (batería).
Jorge Rosado (voz).

Akani is a quartet formed by:

In their debut album show us 14 songs of furious and forceful Groove/Metalcore with clear influences of the first bands of the American Crossover of mid 80’s, such as Biohazard, Suicidal Tendencies and others more current as Hatebreed., although also has some essence of old school Thrash.

Rhythmically dominated the mid-tempos really marked, interspersed with up-tempos and moments of speed increase, but never without sounding overly dramatic. In terms of the riffs, we find them by releasing all that Punk aggression needed in a style like this. In addition, if this L.P exudes energy on its four sides, the edged thrasher guitar solos give a plus of forcefulness to the entirety of the album. At the same time, the rage detached by the vocalist Jorge Rosado is the perfect engine for this machinery that will not leave youake a breath.

If you want to get an idea of the sound of this album, be sure to listen to the following songs:

"Pure and Free" is one of the songs that perfectly summarizes everything that we find through full album. Groove/Metalcore of the highest level.

"Through My Darkest Infernal" is the song that gives title to the disc and it’s an instrumental passage that determines the more melodic side of Akani and even so, don’t lost force by all the feelings that transmits.

"Shango" is one of the more purely Crossover, which will make sure your neck is seriously resentful.

In short, Akani is a great band which do not lose track, due to the high level shown both their EP and their first L.P. They’ll definitely have people talking.
