Desde Mumbai, India, nos llega Regression, el trabajo de 2016 de la banda de Groove Thrash Metal SystemHouse 33. La banda lleva en escena desde 2003, como miembro fundador, su vocalista Samron Jude. Podemos decir que es la primera banda de metal que procede de la pequeña ciudad de Nagpur.  Anterior a Regression han editado 4 álbumes.

Otro de los detalles a resaltar, es la primera banda procedente de la India en llevar a cabo una gira de Heavy Metal, todo un acto legendario dentro de su propio Tour.  La liberación de Regression, los ha llevado de promoción por América; dentro del Metal Alliance Tour 2016.

Con 38 minutos de duración, este trabajo está dividido en 8 cortes.  Las líricas se centran en los problemas de corrupción,

 

desconfianza e hipocresía del momento actual de la humanidad.  En Regression podemos encontrar un excelente trabajo de riffs, pegadizos, sencillos,  sólidos y pesados; el soporte de Leon Quadros en el bajo, y la impecable batería y guitarras de Atish Thomas.

Catharsis, una intro en noventa y cinco segundos, que deja claro la intención y capacidad creativa de la banda.  Marcan paso al tema que da título a este trabajo, Regression impone las reglas de la propuesta de SystemHouse33, una sucesión de cambios precisos de velocidad y calma, se rompen con un grito imponente desde la garganta de Samron, nos deja a merced de la intensidad de su propuesta. Se marcan momentos en donde se da rienda suelta a interludios instrumentales con transiciones a velocidad.

Lift This Plague, posee uno de esos riffs que se quedan rondando tu memoria, el growl  vocal es preciso y contundente, mientras los arreglos instrumentales dan un soporte inmenso, con cambios de tempo que logran mantener la atención del oyente.

Namesake, inicia marcando tiempos pausados, es impresionante como se ejecutan las transiciones a velocidad y vuelta a la pesadez.

Death Chamber, un juego de sincopas  entre la guitarra y la batería, marcan el soporte rítmico de este track.  Luego el protagonismo se lo lleva la plegaria que marcan las líricas.

Detestable Idolatry, si hay que escoger un tema para demostrar el gran trabajo de SystemHouse 33, es éste.  Tiene la velocidad, intensidad, growls y transiciones, necesarias para ser una buena carta de presentación.

Pagan Breed, es un corte donde destaca la contestataria voz de Samron Jude, sobre una base rítmica lineal, con pocos cambios.

Malicious Mind, es el tema escogido para cerrar este trabajo.  Vuelve a la línea de transiciones y cambios de ritmo, la voz marca terreno, se logran buenos arreglos musicales.

En conjunto es un buen trabajo, destacar los cambios de ritmo, transiciones con precisión  quirúrgica y a velocidad. A mi gusto recomiendo 3 temas: Regression, Lift This Plague y Detestable Idolatry.

From Mumbai, India, comes Regression, the work of 2016 of the  band of Groove Thrash Metal SystemHouse33. The band is in stages since 2003, as founder member, its voice and guitar, Samron Jude. We can say that it’s the first band of metal that proceeds from the little city of Nagpur. Before Regression, they’ve edited 4 albums.

Another detail to note is the first band from India to make a tour of Heavy Metal, a legendary act in its own Tour. Regression release, it has led to advertising to America, in Metal Alliance Tour in 2016.

With 38 minutes long, this work is divided into 8 sections. The lyrics focus on the problems of corruption, mistrust and hypocrisy of the current moment of mankind. In Regression we can find an excellent job of riffs, catchy, simple, solid and heavy; Leon Quadros’s support on bass and impeccable battery and guitars Atish Thomas.

Catharsis, an intro in ninety-five seconds, which makes clear the intention and creativity of the band. Make way for the title track to this work, Regression imposes the rules of the proposal of SystemHouse33, a succession of precise changes of speed and calm break with a stunning cry from the throat of Samron, leaves us at the mercy of the intensity of its proposal. Moments where unleashes instrumental interludes with speed transitions are marked.

Lift This Plague, has one of those riffs that are left hanging around your memory, the vocal growl is precise and forceful, while instrumental arrangements give an immense support, with changes of tempo that they manage to keep the attention of the listener.

Namesake, starts marking slow times, is impressive as running transitions to speed and back to the heavy.

Death Chamber, a game of sincopas between the guitar and the drums, mark the rhythmic support of this track.  Then the prayer that mark lyrics takes prominence.

Detestable Idolatry, if we had to choose a song to show the great work of SystemHouse33, is this. It has the speed, intensity, growls and transitions, needed to be a good cover letter.

   Pay Breed, it is a cut which stand out the rebellious voice of Samron Jude, on a linear rhythmic basis, with few changes.

Malicious Mind, is the chosen theme to close this work.  Returns to the line transitions and changes of rhythm, the voice mark field, good musical arrangements are accomplished.

In joint is a good work, stand out the changes of rhythm, transitions with surgical precision and to speed. To my taste I recommend 3 tracks: Regression, Lift This Plague and Detestable Idolatry.
