Desde la capital de Rusia, Moscú, nos llega una descarga de Thrash Metal. La banda está en activo desde 2013, lanzó un EP en 2014, “Terror is the Law”. Las líricas tratan sobre anti-religión, Satanás, sangre y agresividad. Anteriores miembros, Delirium Tremens y Maniac, en las voces y en la guitarra, respectivamente.

En estas líneas hablamos sobre su trabajo de finales de 2015, “Divide and Rule”. Trabajo de algo más de 36 minutos dividido en 10 cortes. Orgánico, potente y limpio thrash metal. Con identidad propia, sin adornos excesivos, guardando la idea original del thrash de la vieja escuela.
Un piano en la introducción parece conducirnos a una obra de terror, que pronto estallará en “All is Lie”, solos de guitarras sembrando el caos al mejor estilo de “Haunting the Chapel”, sin dejar respiro o tiempo para asimilarlo entra la voz, registro agresivo y potente, actitud 100%.
Algo menos intenso inicia “Kingdom of Hate”, jugando con silencios y dejando protagonismo al bajo, dan forma a una interesante introducción del tema. En seguida se vuelve a esa actitud agresiva marcada en la voz, soportada en riffs veloces y cortantes; y la batería marcando la rapidez de las pulsaciones del metrónomo.
El tercer tema es una versión extended de “The Chessboard Killer”, contenido en su Ep de 2014. Curiosamente es el tema más largo, casi 6 minutos. Una introducción elaborada marca la diferencia, con respecto al resto de composiciones. Se marcan más cambios de ritmo.
“Existence”, es el cuarto track, utiliza un riff elaborado diferenciado como intro, pronto se vuelve a romper la calma, velocidad y la agresiva performance vocal, como comenté al principio, los caóticos solos me llevan a la escuela Slayer (King -Hanneman).
El corte cinco, “Into the Inferno”, nos deja disfrutar el primer juego a doble bombo, en mitad del tema, el registro vocal juega con growls. “Human Control”, regresa a la velocidad, la misma que se mantiene en gran parte del corte, adornado con los solos cercanos al caos, y el agresivo estilo vocal. En “Age of Terrorism”, se introducen nuevos elementos, como un grito para terminar la intro y dejar el rápido riff que marcará el corte. “Killed by Me”, marca una corta introducción , para llevarnos al intenso riff y batería mejor elaboradas. En “Shut Up”, se vuelve a una corta introducción, creo que es el tema más rápido e intenso, no pierde la agresividad vocal, juega con cortos dúos de guitarras. El corte final “Divide and Rule”, el tema título de esta obra, puedo observar, tal vez, el solo de guitarra más elaborado (el primero).
En general una obra con la actitud necesaria para el género, actualmente perdida por la excesiva brillantez de arreglos y asistencia en estudio de otras bandas. La agresividad vocal se mantiene en todo el disco, el caos en los solos de guitarra le dan ese carisma rebelde propio de thrash de los 80’s. Los temas que recomiendo, “All is Lie”, “Kingdom of Hate”, “Existence”, “Into the Inferno”, “Human Control”, “Age of Terrorism”, “Killed by Me” y “Shut Up!”.

From the capital of Russia, Moscow, arrive us a Thrash Metal discharge. The band is in active since 2013, they released an EP in 2014, “Terror is the Law”. The lyrics are about anti-religion, Satan, blood and aggressiveness. Former members, Delirium Tremens and Maniac, in voices and guitar, respectively.
In these lines speak on its work of later 2015, "Divide and Rule". A work with a duration of 36 minutes divided into 10 cuts. Organic powerful and clean thrash metal. With own identity, without ornaments over, keeping the idea original of the old school thrash.
A piano in the introduction seems to lead us to a work of terror, that will soon explode in "All is Lie", guitar solos wreaking havoc in the style of "Haunting the Chapel", without leaving no respite or time to assimilate, comes the voice, aggressive and powerful register, 100% attitude.
Something less intense starts "Kingdom of Hate", playing with silences and leaving protagonism to the bass, give way to an interesting introduction of the track. It soon come back the aggressiveness of the beginning marked in the voice, supported in riffs fast and sharp; and the drums marking the rapidity of the metronome beats.
The third track is a version extended of "The Chessboard Killer", content in their Ep of 2014. Curiously, it is the longest track, almost 6 minutes. An elaborate introduction makes the difference, compared to the rest of the compositions. More rhythm changes are marked.
The fifth track, "Into the Inferno", us lets enjoy the first game to double bass drum, in half of the track, the register vocal plays with growls. "Human Control", returns to the speed, the same that is keeps in great part of the cut, adorned with them solos near to the chaos, and the aggressive vocal. In "Age of Terrorism", introducing new elements, like a scream to end the intro and let the fast riff mark a big song. "Killed by Me", mark a short introduction, to bring us to the intense riff and drums most elaborated. "Shut Up!", turns to a short introduction, I think that it is faster and more intense track, doesn’t lose the vocal aggression , play with short guitar duos. The final song "Divide and Rule", the track that gives the name to title of this work, I see, perhaps, a solo guitar most elaborate (the first).
In general a work with the necessary attitude to gender, currently lost by excessive brilliance of arrangements and assistance in study of other bands. The aggressiveness vocal keeps in the whole album, the chaos in them solos guitar give it that charisma rebel own of thrash of the 80’s. The tracks that I recommend, “All is Lie”, “Kingdom of Hate”, “Existence”, “Into the Inferno”, “Human Control”, “Age of Terrorism”, “Killed by Me” and “Shut Up!”.
