Mercyless es una banda de Death Metal nacida en el año 1987, originaria de Francia. Tras 5 álbumes de estudio, varias demos, un split y dos álbumes en directo, el 7 de octubre lanzaron su sexta obra titulada “Pathetic Divinity”, a través de Kaotoxin Records.

Mercyless juegan en una liga superior y con “Pathetic Divinity” lo han vuelto a demostrar. Este álbum rezuma Old School Death Metal por los cuatro costados, sin altibajos ni rellenos innecesarios, además de contar con una impecable producción. Todo en el es una delicia para los oídos. De principio a fin está plagado de mid-tempos y up-tempos acompañados de brutales y malévolos riffs, que te acercarán a lo más cercano al infierno que puedes estar en la Tierra. Además, salpicado de algunos solos de guitarra pesados y melódicos, sin perder la agresividad reinante durante todo el disco. Todo ello queda aderezado por los potentes y rabiosos growls de Max Otero, los cuales no te dejarán un momento de respiro.

Las canciones “Left to Rot” y “Pathetic Divinity” resumen a la perfección la esencia del álbum. Death Metal puro, oscuro y arrollador.

En resumen, Mercyless sabe como debe sonar el estilo y ha compuesto un álbum excepcional, que nos trae de vuelta a finales de los 80 y principios de los 90. Desde el primer momento “Pathetic Divinity” está llamado a convertirse en un clásico de la escena Death Metal.

Mercyless is a Death Metal band born in 1987, originally from France. After 5 Studio albums, several demos, a split and two live albums, October 7th released its sixth work entitled "Pathetic Divinity", through Kaotoxin Records.

Mercyless play in a higher League and with "Pathetic Divinity" have returned it to demonstrate. This album exudes Old School Death Metal on all four sides, no ups and downs or unnecessary stuffed, as well as having an impeccable production. All in this album is a delight for the ears. From beginning to end it’s plagued by mid-tempos and up-tempos accompanied by malicious and brutal riffs, that will bring you to the closest thing to hell you can be on Earth. In addition, sprinkled with some heavy and melodic guitar solos, without losing the reigning aggressiveness during the whole album. All this is spiced by them powerful and rabid growls of Max Otero, which not you leave a moment of respite.

The songs "Left to Rot" and "Pathetic Divinity" summarized perfectly the essence of the album. Pure, dark and overwhelming Death Metal.

In short, Mercyless knows how it should sound style and has composed an exceptional album, which brings us back to the late 80s and early 90s. From the first moment "Pathetic Divinity" is destined to become a classic of the Death Metal scene.
