Hace años, cuando aún era humano adquirí mediante la herencia de mi difunto tío una desvencijada mansión a las afueras de la ciudad. Después de obtener el título de propiedad, mi mujer y yo decidimos reformarla y vivir en ella. Meses más tarde nos instalamos allí. Desde la primera noche sentí una extraña sensación que invadía todo mi ser. Algo siniestro pululaba por allí y pretendía dominar mi mente y controlar mi cuerpo. Mis cambios de humor comenzaron a ser frecuentes. En un principio percibía una voz dentro de mi cabeza. Esta, cada vez hablaba más alto en mi interior. Me contaba como realizar una serie de actos aberrantes, e incluso me hacía ver imágenes. Estas visiones eran absolutamente horripilantes. Llegaba a observar con total nitidez una serie de rituales en unas catacumbas. La piedra estaba totalmente recubierta por piel y formaban figuras de calaveras y rostros agónicos. En medio se hallaba un altar creado de huesos, donde se practicaban los sacrificios. Al cabo de unos días me desperté sobresaltado. No podía creer lo que estaba contemplando. Me encontraba en la caverna que aprecié en mis ensoñaciones. Los espíritus, pululaban caóticamente por todo el lugar, traspasando mi cuerpo produciéndome una desagradable sensación. Entonces apareció el maestro. Ni tan siquiera pude gritar, ya que el pánico me tenía absolutamente dominado. Me apresó del cuello y me elevó. Con su otra mano comenzó a sacarse sus entrañas. Acto seguido me obligó a ingerirlas. Caí al suelo. Segundos más tarde mi cuerpo convulsionó de tal manera que pensé que me partiría en dos, cayendo en el oscuro y profundo pozo de la inconsciencia. En aquel estado, vi como mi propio ser iba siendo carcomido, hasta que finalmente, aquel ente siniestro me poseyó en su totalidad. Él y yo éramos y seguimos siendo uno desde aquel momento. El siguiente paso era por supuesto comenzar a ofrecer sacrificios a aquel con cuernos. La causa de ello era traer a todos los diablos de nuevo a la tierra. Estos se introducirían en los cuerpos de las victimas. Repoblarían y dominarían nuestro universo utilizando a la anterior especie dominante como recipientes. Para comenzar aquella empresa que mejor que mi propia familia. Esa noche mezclé narcóticos en los alimentos de todos ellos. El efecto de los químicos era paralizante, aunque no perderían el conocimiento. Cuando hicieron efecto los traslade uno a uno hacia la gruta. Mi esposa e hijos me miraban entre aterrados y asombrados sollozando en silencio. Deposité a mi señora en el antealtar. Mi cuerpo se transformó quemando mi piel y dejando al descubierto la del demonio. Introduje violentamente mi/nuestra mano en el pecho de ella transfiriéndole la maligna esencia. Después irían mis vástagos. Este era el comienzo de un nuevo reinado de caos y atrocidad.
Acabáis de llegar al devastador mundo de Doomsilla. Presenciarás la ascensión de las tinieblas. Morirás y resucitarás en ella.

Doomsilla es un combo de doom death black metal procedentes de Estados Unidos. Comenzaron su carrera en 2012.
Dos años más tarde, la parroquia acogió con los cuernos en alto su primera demo "Corpse of the Blackened Sun". En esa primera arremetida, estos doomsters exhibían de que pasta estaban hechos demostrando su claro potencial.
Al año siguiente editaron una nueva maqueta. Nombrada "Worshiped by Flies", fue la antesala para lo que sería su primer larga duración.
El 28 de noviembre de 2015 y bajo el arrope del sello Morbid Generation Records, el universo extremo vio como estos estadounidenses gestaban y daban a luz su flamante doble C.D. Sacramentado con el nombre de "Join the Cult" es la causa de que existan estas putrefactas esquelas.

En esta primera embestida los de Florida nos presenta un trabajo grueso, crujiente, torturado y repleto de contrastes. Descubrirás en el trascurso del minutage del susodicho, como este grupo pasa de la pesadez mas asfixiante, a destrozarte el cerebro con ráfagas de velocidad increíbles. Todo ello aderezado con pinceladas de teclados, introducidos en los momentos requeridos. Esto último te aseguro que no le resta dureza al resultado final , si no que le dota de una sensación muy lúgubre, encajando perfectamente con lo que desean transmitir al oyente.
En cuanto a riffs se refiere, descubrimos una amalgama de estilos que se entremezclan y conviven en perfecta armonía. Los encontramos contundentes, fluidos, a una cuerda típicamente death metal, e instantes de disonancias propias del "metal negro".
Las baterías, como decía un poco más arriba pasan de un límite a otro. Sin embargo lo que predomina de manera clara son los med y los down tempos. Esta cualidad hace que cuando llegan los ritmos trepidantes y blast beats resulten mucho más efectivos.
Los registros vocales son realmente putrefactos. Destaca el deathgrowl ante los guturales agudos.
Las líneas de bajo llegan a sorprender gratamente en más de una ocasión. Para estos doom metaleros este instrumento no solo sirve para acompañar y hacer más solida la base rítmica, cualidad que es muy de agradecer.
Al termino de esta breve exposición de lo que encontramos en este Long Play, pasemos a describir los tracks más punteros.
Destacaría "Corpse of the Blackened Sun", "Red Light Executioner", "The Devils Side of the Story", "Hangmans Noose" y "Join the Cult" por los siguientes motivos:
"Corpse of the Blackened Sun" y "Red Light Executioner", resaltan por que son de los pocos temas veloces de las casi 2 horas de música aquí mostradas. Os aseguro que os reventareis el cuello haciendo headbanging y disfrutareis sobremanera con los riffs que contienen estos dos asaltos. Ve comprando reflex hermano que el cuello se te va a resentir.
"The Devils Side of the Story", es una tonada absolutamente agónica y densa. Riffs compactos, lentos y con un punto de melodía adictiva, arropado bajo un colchón de teclado te dinamitará los sesos. Si deseabas saber cual era la tónica compositiva, y de que forma se las gastan generalmente esta agrupación escúchatelo, y sabrás lo que te espera si le das al play a este disco.
Hasta ahora os había resaltado las arremetidas más rápidas. También las más significativa. Y ahora ha llegado el turno por descubriros el hibrido, o mejor dicho los híbridos de ambas características. Estas acometidas que entremezclan ambas particularidades son "Hangmans Noose" y "Join the Cult". Dinamismo en estado puro.
Esta obra es tremendamente ambiciosa y no está exenta de calidad, todo lo contrario. Sin embargo, para muchos será un redondo excesivamente largo, dando la sensación en ocasiones que las canciones están alargadas por que si. Por otro lado no nos escapamos de algún momento de relleno. Sin embargo, a pesar de ello, buen futuro le auguro a estos adictos a los tempos bajos. Habrá que estar atentos a ver cuales son sus próximos movimientos.

In this first album rhey presents a work thick, crispy, tortured and full of contrasts. You will discover in the course of the minutage of the above, as this group passes the heaviness more stifling, to destroy you brain with incredible bursts of speed. All spiced with touches of keyboards, introduced at the required times. The latter I assure you not subtracts it hardness to the end result that it gives it a very gloomy feel, fitting perfectly with what they want to convey to the listener.
In terms of riffs, we discovered an amalgam of styles that mingle and coexist in perfect harmony. Find it compelling, fluids, at a string typically death metal, and moments of dissonances of the "black metal".
The drums, as I said above become a limit. However what predominates in a way clear are the med and the down tempos. This quality makes when it reach the frenetic rhythms and blast beats far more effective.

"Corpse of the Blackened Sun" and "Red Light Executioner", stand out because they are of the few quick songs of the almost 2 hours of music here displayed. I assure you that you break your neck doing headbanging and will greatly enjoy with riffs that contain these two rounds.
"The Devils Side of the Story", is a tune quite agonising and dense. Compact and slow riffs with an addictive melody point, clothed under a mattress of keyboard. If you wanted to know which was the compositional pattern, play this song.
So far I had highlighted you fastest songs. Also the most significant. And now the turn to discover you the hybrid, or better yet hybrids of both characteristics. These songs that combines both features are "Hangmans Noose"and "Join the Cult". Dynamism in its purest form.
This work is tremendously ambitious and is not exempt from quality, quite the opposite. However, for many it will be a too-long album, giving the feeling sometimes that the songs are elongated. However, despite this, good future foresee to these low tempos junkies. It’ll be to see what their next moves.
