Suecia no deja de sorprender con sus propuestas y evolución del sonido Goteborg. Esta vez tenemos a la banda Chine, con su sonido Death Metal con pinceladas de melódico sin sonar edulcorado.

La banda se forma en 2005 en Helsingborg, con Andreas Weis en las guitarras y Jesper Sunnhagen en la batería. Trabajan bajo el nombre de Chaostribe entre 2006 y 2008. Lanzan su primer Ep “Repulsive Sonatas”(2009) con el sello británico Casket Music. En 2012 lanzan de forma independiente “Betray your Own Kind”. Su sonido es sólido, natural desbordante de energía brutal y atmósferas tristes.
En el 2015 ingresan en la banda: Tommy Erichson en el bajo, el virtuoso guitarrista Jokke Petterson, y el portentoso Ola Svensson en las voces, contactado por su capacidad artística de gritar.
Recientemente la banda ha lanzado “Immanent”, el 1 de Julio , de forma independiente, con una duración de 36 minutos. Los detalles musicales de su virtuoso guitarra Jokke Petterson, se pueden apreciar en cada uno de los riffs: contundentes, cortantes, sólidos sin fisuras; me gustaría pensar que es la continuidad de Slaugther of the Souls. Claro está que la inclusíón de los gritos de Ola Svensson logran una re-encarnación de Tompa Lindberg, a nuestros días, gigante en su registro con el control del growl y screams. La batería sin exagerar en velocidad, adornos o dobles bombos, logran un equilibrio que da excelencia al sonido final.
Desde el inicio, la corta intro, “Cephalophore”, donde finalmente deja ese pegadizo pero oscuro riff que será la seña de identidad de Floating, un tema grandioso, para incluirlo en una clase de cómo debe ser el Death Metal Melódico de Suecia.
Behind the Vivid Light, juega con silencios y estallidos en velocidad esporádicos, atmósferas sutiles y una guitarra acústica complementan el tema. A Thousand Cuts, fue el single que se lanzó en marzo, inicia a velocidad, jugando con transiciones quirúrgicas. I Forgive You, inicia en un caos disonante intencionado, me recuerda las guitarras de Voivod, el registro vocal desgarrado, sobre esa atmósfera hipnótica, es sublime. Tid för Hämnd, el tema thrash de este álbum, agresivo, con una sección marcada con doble bombo para reducir la velocidad.
Luego otro de los temas que recomiendo Sky, dentro del mismo se desarrollan atmósferas de tristeza, impresionantes, puedes sentir sus formas, el sonido predominante del bajo respaldando el riff de guitarra, es brutal. Cierra esta placa Immanet, que es el tema que da título a la obra, otra vez un grandioso riff que se repite en la memoria, es el corte progresivo por sus constantes variaciones y estructura. Un trabajo brillante, equilibrado, fácil de asimilar, un gran trabajo creativo.

Sweden does not fail to surprise with its proposals and evolution of the Goteborg sound. This time we have the band Chine, with their Death Metal sound with melodic brush strokes without sounding sweetened.
The band formed in 2005 in Helsingborg, with Andreas Weis on guitars and Jesper Sunnhagen on drums. Their work under the name of Chaostribe between 2006 and 2008.
