Bewitcher es una banda de Black/Speed Metal originaria de EEUU, formada en el año 2013. Su discografía cuenta con 3 demos y un álbum de larga duración llamado “Bewitcher”, lanzado el día 18 de agosto de este año.

La formación se compone de Diabolic Crusher of Hallowed Light a la batería, Infernal Magus of Nocturnal Alchemy al bajo y Unholy Weaver of Shadows and Incantations a la guitarra y la voz.
Personalmente me encantan esas bandas que retoman los sonidos de la vieja escuela con una producción ajustada a los nuevos tiempos, pero sin sonar artificiales, y eso es justamente lo que nos vamos a encontrar en “Bewitcher”.
A través de 9 canciones y poco más de media hora, Bewitcher juntan la violencia y salvajismo del Thrash, los solos de guitarra del Speed Metal, la macarrería de Motorhead y la oscuridad de Venom.
Aquí lo que predomina es la velocidad muy bien medida y los trémolos más tipicamente black metaleros junto a solos de guitarra salvajes pero a la vez melódicos. Rítmicamente es practicamente invariable, up tempos a diestro y siniestro, los cuales se tornan un poco monótonos en ocasiones, pero en absoluto le restan puntos al conjunto del álbum, ya que se complementan perfectamente con la guitarra y la voz.
En cuanto a registros vocales, únicamente es utilizado un tono rasgado y sucio, en consonancia con el tipo de música que practican.
Resumiendo, “Bewitcher” es un álbum altamente recomendado para los fans del Metal de la vieja escuela. Un gran debut de una banda que si continúan en esta línea, se pueden llegar a convertir en una banda de culto en el futuro.

Bewitcher is a Black/Speed Metal band originating in the USA, formed in the year 2013. Their discography comprises 3 demos and a full-length album called "Bewitcher", released 18th August, 2016.
The line-up is composed of Diabolic Crusher of Hallowed Light on drums, Infernal Magus of Nocturnal Alchemy on bass and Unholy Weaver of Shadows and Incantations on guitar and voice.
Personally I love those bands that revisit the sounds of the old school with a production adjusted to new times, but without sounding artificial, and that is exactly what we find in "Bewitcher".
Through 9 songs and little more than half an hour, Bewitcher meets the violence and savagery of Thrash, the guitar solos of Speed Metal, the nasty of Motörhead and Venom’s darkness.
What prevails here is the speed very well measure and tremolos more typically black metallers along with wild but at the same time melodic guitar solos. Rhythmically it is almost invariably, up tempos right and left, which become a bit monotonous at times, but not at all remaining points to the whole of the album, since they complement perfectly with the guitar and voice.
In terms of vocal registers, is only used a torn and dirty tone in keeping with the kind of music that practice.
In short, "Bewitcher" is an album that is highly recommended for fans of old school Metal. A great debut of a band that if they continue in this vein, can be convert into a cult band in the future.
