En el principio de los tiempos, después de la batalla entre ángeles y demonios por el control del cielo, Satán decidió crear su heraldo perfecto. Éste sería el encargado de intentar dominar el plano terrenal y a sus moradores. Su terrorífico rostro carecía de piel y músculos. El resto de su cuerpo estaba recubierto de una piel azul, cubriéndolo con una túnica negra. El diablo lo envió con el fin de que abriera una puerta entre ambos mundos. De esta manera se pretendía conseguir que el resto de engendros del infierno entraran, creando un autentico reino de tinieblas. El todopoderoso, viendo lo que estaba a punto de ocurrir, le brindó a un humano el poder y conocimientos necesarios para detener a las fuerzas del mal. Las batallas duraron décadas. Durante ese tiempo el Maligno logró que parte de su ejercito se apareara con las mujeres del planeta, creando así híbridos entre ambas especies, implantando para siempre la semilla del mal en la especie. Las contiendas fueron cruentas, hasta que finalmente aquel hombre a costa de su propio sacrificio consiguió encerrar en la cuarta dimensión a todos los monstruos maléficos poniendo un sello que suponía el fin absoluto de la batalla. Millones de años pasaron, y el hechizo terminó por debilitarse resquebrajándose el precinto. Este suceso hizo que el espíritu del perverso emisario escapara introduciéndose en el ánima de aquel individuo. Pronto comenzó su transformación mental y física. Ahora absolutamente preparado para la reconquista sus carcajadas resuenan en ambos reinos. La pelea esta a punto de volver a empezar, y en está ocasión no habrá errores.
Bienvenidos al Universo de Arreat Summit. El mayor conflicto jamás conocido por el hombre está a punto de iniciarse.

Arreat Summit es un combo de technical death / deathcore procedentes de Suecia. Comenzaron su andadura musical en 2012. Un año más tarde apareció su primera maqueta "Demo 2012", donde daban muestra de su talento. Sus siguientes pasos fueron los Extended Plays "King of the Dead" y "Feast of the Wicked" de 2013 y 2014 respectivamente. Finalmente el 18 de septiembre de 2015 nos llegó lo que hasta la fecha es su último E.P. Bautizado con el nombre de "Frostburn" este trabajo es la razón de que existan estas purulentas esquelas.
El line up es el siguiente: Martin Maxe (bajo), Marcus Egberth (batería), Markus Sandin (guitarra), Matthias Berndt (guitarra. Asu vez componente de Nuclear Torment), Sonny Svensson (voz).
En este nuevo asalto la banda hace gala de su gran técnica instrumental, donde los cambios de dirección son una premisa y una constante en su manera de estructurar los tracks. De esta manera obviamente se aseguran que el subidón de adrenalina sea increíble, introduciendo al metalhead en una espiral de violencia e intensidad espectacular. La única pega es que solo son dos cortes, que acaban sabiendo a muy muy poco.
Los riffs son realmente intrincados, cargados de feroces melodías. El escaparate de éstos es amplio, hallándolos a una cuerda, a doble armonía, pesados y fluidos. Todo ello lo aderezan con unos solos de guitarra muy bien ejecutados.
Las voces como suele ser usual en este género musical se basa en inhumanos growls intercalándolos con guturales agudos.
La batería es un huracán de cambalaches de recorrido. Up, mid tempos y blasts reventarán tu cráneo.
Al termino de esta descripción general paseemos a comentar brevemente las dos tonadas que conforman este ataque, las cuales son "Underlife" y "Frostburn".
"Underlife" es absolutamente asombrosa. Los incesantes cambalaches de camino y sus enrevesadas guitarras acabaran por lesionarte el cuello al menos una semana. Trepidante a más no poder.
"Frostburn" es levemente más lenta que su predecesora en su comienzo, pero terriblemente efectiva, para después estallar de la manera más violenta posible. Básicamente el maremágnum de canjes vuelve a poner en serio peligro tus pulsaciones, ya que subirán de manera alarmante ante tal muestra de poder. ¡Enorme!
Espectacular e intachable trabajo el de estos chicos, que espero que muy pronto nos regalen al fin un L.P. Como comentaba más arriba, si hubiera que ponerles un pero ese sería el escaso minutage de lo aquí ofrecido. Por lo demás ¡ALUCINANTE!

In this new EP, the band boasts its great instrumental technique, where tempo changes are a premise and a constant in its way of structuring the tracks. The two songs in this EP are “Underlife” and “Frostburn”.
"Underlife" is absolutely amazing. The incessant changes of tempos and its convoluted guitars finished by injury neck at least one week.
"Frostburn" is slightly slower than its predecessor, but terribly effective, then burst as more violent as possible. Basically the maremagnum of changes again to seriously endanger your beats, since they will rise alarmingly before such a sign of power.
