Siempre pensé que la raza humana acabaría exterminándose a si misma. Lo que jamás imaginé, es que debido a los efectos de la mayor guerra química de la historia llegaran a crearse auténticos muertos vivientes. El mundo se vio inmerso en un absoluto caos en cuestión de una sola semana. El virus, que hacía que aquellos difuntos volviesen a la vida se propagó realmente rápido por la ya muy mermada población. Hace un mes aproximadamente que me encuentro totalmente solo. Aquí estoy, divagando, y solo acompañado por mis traumas, diablos personales y la grabadora con la que estoy dejando constancia de todo esto. Hace unas horas que me mordieron. Ahora mismo tengo dos opciones. Una, amputarme la pierna para que el virus que me transformará en cadáver andante no haga su efecto. Dos, coger la excavadora, ir a aquel barranco donde un grupo de esos seres se encuentra atrapado y morir matando, vengándome y acabando con todos los que pudiese. Si, lo se, esto no solucionaría mi problema, pero desde luego me sentiría mucho mejor al hacerlo. Obviamente dejaría una bala en la recamara para mi. Increíble, estoy planteándome o el suicidio o la auto amputación. Ahora, hablando conmigo mismo en varias personas creo que definitivamente he perdido la cabeza…. He cogido el machete. Me estoy practicando un torniquete en la extremidad dañada. ¡voy a hacerlo!….. , dios no puedo…..
Acabo de elegir como acabaría todo esto en el momento que no pude cortar por lo sano. Nunca esa expresión tuvo mas sentido para mi…. Me estoy reincorporando como puedo. Agarro la recortada y la caja con munición. Bajo a duras penas las escaleras. Monto en la ruidosa y mastodóntica máquina. Seguro que su creador jamás se le ocurrió que en vez de ayudar a un obrero en su tarea acabaría usándose para exterminar podridos. Dios que estúpido me siento contando paso a paso mis acciones….
He tardado dos horas en llegar al acantilado. Sin pensármelo dos veces estoy comenzando la misión suicida. Sangre de color marrón salpicaba por doquier debido al poder destructivo del monstruo mecánico. Finalmente me dispongo a bajar. Pondré la grabadora dentro de la cabina de la draga. Anticosm es un combo de black thrash metal procedentes de Estados Unidos. Iniciaron su carrera en 2003. Dos años después el underground recibió con los brazos abiertos su primera demo "We’re Going to Hell for This", iniciando de esta manera su personal orgía de devastación.
Después de otra maqueta y un sencillo, llegó en 2009 su primer L.P "Against the Cosmos", arrasando con todo lo que se les ponía por delante. A partir de entonces lanzaron una serie de singles, splits y maquetas, que mantuvieron viva la llama y el interés de sus seguidores ávidos de un nuevo Long Play.
Finalmente el 25 de agosto de 2015 el mundo vio nacer el segundo redondo del conjunto. Bautizado con el nombre de "Anticosm", y editado bajo el sello Born of Chaos Records, este plástico es el culpable de que existan estas moribundas esquelas.
El line up es el siguiente: Kirill "Graveless" (voz), Mark "Magnus" Siedlecki (guitarra solista), Randy "Noir" Cavanaugh (guitarra rítmica. A su vez componente de Grim Legion, ex-Malecoda), Chris "Demogorgon" Gorman (bajo. También en War Crime), Ethan "Beheader" Susman (batería. Ex-War Crime).
En este nuevo asalto esta banda nos brinda una obra cruda, real, feroz y sin fisuras, no apta para amantes de superproducciones vacías. Por otro lado, se percibe de manera clara un aura maligna que rodea todos y cada uno de los tracks que lo conforman, convirtiendo a este ataque en un viaje directo al infierno.
Los riffs son fluidos, a doble armonía, a una cuerda y con leves pinceladas de armónicos. Por supuesto no olvidan los momentos más contundentes, perfectos para hacer headbanging. Todo ello aderezado con efectivos solos de guitarra.
Los registros vocales se basan en violentos shrieks que te desmembraran irremisiblemente.
Las líneas de bajo están sorpresivamente más elaboradas de lo que cabe esperar en un grupo de estas características. Esto hace que una sonrisa se dibuje en tu cara al descubrir esta cualidad.
La batería se mueve con total comodidad entre los up y med tempos. Por cierto te asombraran los instantes de blast beats.
Al termino de esta descripción global pasemos a comentar brevemente las mejores tonadas de este asalto. Destacaría "Where Nightmares Breed", "Black Magic" y "Wake Up in Hell" por los siguientes motivos:
"Where Nightmares Breed", es un corte repleto de cambios de dirección que te dejará con el cuello lesionado un par de semanas. ¡Asegurado!
"Black Magic" junto con la última canción son las más extensas en cuanto a minutage se refiere. Con un inicio en limpio y un desarrollo elaborado, la adrenalina te subirá hasta limites insanos, convirtiéndose en una de tus preferidas de manera instantánea.
"Wake Up in Hell" es la más extrema en sus formas. Es tanto la más veloz como la más potente. Básicamente todo un puñetazo en la boca del estomago hermano.
No inventan nada pero con su propuesta tampoco les hace falta. Un trabajo más que correcto que os hará pasar un buen rato.

Anticosm is black thrash metal band coming from United States. They began their career in 2003. Two years later the underground received their first demo "We’re Going to Hell for This", thus starting his personal orgy of devastation.
After another demo and a single, reached in 2009 their first L.P "Against the Cosmos", ravaging everything that made them ahead. Since then released a series of singles, splits and demos, which kept alive the flame and the interest of fans for a new Long Play.
Finally on August 25, 2015 the world saw the birth of the second round set. Baptized with the name of "Anticosm", and edited under Born of Chaos Records, this album is the culprit that there are these dying obituaries.

The best songs are "Where Nightmares Breed”, "Black Magic” and "Wake Up in Hell" for the following reasons:
"Where Nightmares Breed", is a court full of changes of direction that will leave you with neck injury a couple of weeks. Insured!
"Black Magic" is together with the last song are the most extensive in terms of minutage. With a clean start and elaborate development-the adrenaline you will come up to the limits insane, turning it into one of your favorite instant.
